How about some more ambient
| Date: 09-17-2005 Genre: Downtempo / Ambient
| I've really been into ambient lately as you can see. There's been a great discussion going on about just what ambient really is over at Yay Hooray.
Also, that's my voice on the track.

Worked with Nikolasvice tonight
| Date: 09-16-2005 Genre: Downtempo / Ambient
| This song is the first in my collection that actually delves into true ambient format. Lots of different layers and grooves. I employed several tricks such as delay filtering on the drums to get the fluid syncopation and other such live sounding entities.
I also worked on a rock song with Nikolasvice. We should have that done soon, and with live guitar. yay!

Something special
| Date: 09-15-2005 Genre: Electronica Jazz
| Well I got the file size and length to match unintentionally this time, aren't I special. :)
Very cool 1967 moog sounds in this one, as well as some pretty groovy organ. I tried to not make it sound like new-wave jazz, it's very difficult not to be cheesy. Pretty happy with the way this came out.
On a side note, I'm ranked above 250 out of 16,000 electronica tracks in the ambient, breakbeat, dance, and downtempo categories at sound click.

Grunge Electric Low-fi
| Date: 09-14-2005 Genre: Techno
| So I spent lots of time outputting this stuff to mp3 right? Yep. Anyhow, I was accidentally encoding them at 33.2 instead of 44.1 khz. That made everything speed up really fast for certain players.
I have to re-encode about 11 more songs, did six tonight. (yah, sucks to be me)
Oh, and that kind of inspired me to write something low-fi.

Psycho babble
| Date: 09-13-2005 Genre: Bizarre Electronica
| This track is on drugs. I don't know which ones, but it's definitely on drugs. I hope it makes you want to play the harmonica and chase after zebra fish. I suppose morbid electronic breakbeat combined with elements of psycho babble psy-trance would have been a more fitting description.
*Note: re-released with some filter fixes

Apparently this is low fidelity
| Date: 09-12-2005 Genre: Downtempo / Ambient
| I definitely had a difficult time keeping my recording session under six hours tonight with this track. I got so into it that I didn't even want to digest food. My aim was to produce a low-fi, groovable, ambient palette of sounds. Notice the different electronic and organic textures moving in and out of a very wide sound scape.

Electronic Interpretations
| Date: 09-11-2005 Genre: Techno
| This is a rich, vibrant and somewhat lucious jazz platform, shelved by hard electronica and ambience. As always, this song was composed from the ground up. No measure samples or other midi data was recycled.
Hope you enjoy my efforts.

Stiff Electronica Funk
| Date: 09-10-2005 Genre: Electronica Funk
| This track was done as an audition piece featuring "Katois". Took us roughly five hours. It's funk electronica, a sort of live, filter rich vocal environment. There's stiff bass and electrical hypnotism going on in this track for certain.

Mlan hell
| Date: 09-09-2005 Genre: Electronica Jazz
| I've been busting my ass updating firmware, drivers, and applications all night. Can't seem to get MLan to work yet. To bad I can't read japanese.
Beyond this, I figured you all needed something different. This track will be a good starting point for audition material: We're currently looking for female vocalists.
Maybe I'll do a follow up on this one.

Good Music, Good Mood
| Date: 09-08-2005 Genre: Breakbeat
| I'm feeling good tonight, even though I hardly got any sleep last night. I was so excited about releasing this song today that I even came home at lunch to work on it. (Yeah, I work full time)
Was going for the vocal style of Shpongle and the groove of Amon Tobin. One day I aspire to be as good as either of them. Enjoy.
