I would've liked to add some vocals to this track but I couldn't find anything Cuban or Brazilian. So I figured rather than screw it up, it's better to wait until the time is right, or maybe re-release it on an album. Pretty fond of the track melodies though.

Bridging gaps

| Most times in order to progress as a musician, you have to learn tremendous amounts of information quickly. Tonight I feel I bridged some sort of gap that I may have been missing for some time. This song uses swing quantization to produce more of a live feel. I added the synth towards the end just to say to the listener: "Hey, this is still electronic, BTW".

Auditioning quite the success

| Well today I auditioned a wonderfully strong vocalist from phoenix. We worked together in producing the melody, rhythm, and structure of the song. Composition time was roughly 2 hours. About 3 hours post production work including mixing, mastering, and special effects.
